to its reputation as a high quality provider of long term
skilled nursing care, Friendship Ridge also offers quality
rehabilitative services, with a goal of getting residents
healed and back to their homes performing day-to-day functions.
In order to accomplish this, Friendship Ridge has contracted
with Premier Therapy since 2001 to provide occupational, physical
and speech therapy services. Premier Therapy provides occupational,
physical and speech Therapy services to a number of other
skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Pennsylvania
and Ohio. Premier Therapy was founded by Vicki Javens, an
Executive from one of the nation's largest providers of rehabilitation
services in long-term care. |

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF
Premier Therapy employs 3 full-time and 2 part-time administrative
staff members. Friendship Ridge employees 3 full-time rehabilitation
escorts.

Therapy Services at Friendship Ridge |

Premier's
Speech Therapists
assess and develop treatment plans for Friendship Ridge residents
who are experiencing swallowing difficulties, cognitive deficits,
behavioral issues, and other related speech and language disorders.
Speech Therapy's goal is to improve our residents' quality of life
by improving their ability to communicate with friends and family,
as well as maintain safe and adequate nutrition/hydration. Premier
Therapy employs 3 Speech/Language Therapists.
