Friendship Ridge Physical Therapy Services
(provided by Premier Therapy)

Premier's Physical Therapists assess and develop treatment plans for residents experiencing difficulties in balance, ambulation, bed mobility, transfers; requiring strengthening and reconditioning, prosthetic training, pulmonary therapy and wound care. Physical Therapy's goal is to restore lost abilities necessary to regain the resident's highest level of independence and self-esteem. Premier Therapy employs 5 physical therapists and 5 physical therapy assistants.

Cindie Carothers, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, assists a resident to safely transfer from his wheelchair to a walker enabling him to perform tasks necessary for a more independent life style.
Hany Rafla, Physical Therapist, works to improve this resident's ability to walk using a quad cane.
Scott Slipko and Jim Paterson, Physical Therapy Assistants, work to improve a resident's strength and balance necessary for safe ambulation.
 
       
Jim Patterson, Physical Therapy Assistant, encourages this resident to use a quad cane providing the necessary cues to ensure safety. Cindie Carothers, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Cindy Mihalic, Physical Therapy Assistant, work to restore this resident's abilitly to walk following an above knee amputation. Prosthetic training activities prepare this resident for a more independent life style.
